PayPal recommends that you use Domain Name Service (DNS) results to determine the IP addresses of our servers. PayPal changes its records often and does not provide advance notification of changes.

If you choose not to use DNS, you should be aware that except during scheduled maintenance, at least one of the IP addresses listed below will always be live and serving traffic for each system. Therefore, your application must know how to cycle through all the addresses until it finds one that is working.
