When you create a Facebook Page, you must choose a category for that page so that Facebook knows what types of information sections to include. Facebook Page categories range from fan pages for celebrities and athletes to company pages. In the past, it was impossible to change this category once it was selected. Now, however, you can change your Facebook Page type by clicking the "Edit Page" button on the page itself.
