When you try and logon to a Windows 7 or other Windows based computers like Vista, windows 8, XP or Server 2012, you receive the following error message:

The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. you are then forced to logon to a temporary profile, or default profile.

The problem is that Windows can't read your user profile correctly, I will show you how to resolve the issue.

Overview

• Load windows in safe mode
• Open regedit
• Goto - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
• Fast Forward video to 2:00
• Swap registry keys around as in video

NB: If the admin account does not appear you will need to enable it.
