(Solved) - Disappeared special folders in Vista after changing drive letter | How-To Geek Forums

Whilst organizing my drives I changed the drive letter of the partition that carries the special folders Vista uses (Documents, Desktop, Videos, Favorites, Downloads etc.).

And lo and behold - I get a warning message at startup they are gone, but no option to restore them!

I have them on another drive, so I thought I'll go to properties and change the location, but there is no tab location anymore!

How can I get these folders back? Particularly Desktop is very inconvenient, since explorer now appears empty in the locationbar.

Mind you - it is not a real problem since I will be doing a fresh install within a day or two, but I'd like to know the solution if I ever by accident do something like this with a properly working system!
