Installed Windows 8, file/folder permission issues galore. - [H]ard|Forum

Typically I'm running Windows 7 on a SSD and I have a 1TB storage drive with apps, music, documents, movies, games etc on it and it's all good and gravy. I need to learn W8 for work so I pulled my current SSD and put a blank SSD in, installed W8 to it and went about using my storage drive like normal...however Chrome constantly complains about needing admin permissions to write to my F:\Downloads folder. Copy/pasting files complains about needing admin permissions to write to the folder, uTorrent will not write to any of the folders due to permission denied.

This thread mentions the use of secedit and icals and how to use them.
