One of our customers ran into the CryptoLocker virus (oh joy..), which we isolated the particular machine, and have been restoring their files from backup. Thats all well and good. We contact the antivirus company and escalated a case, as it not only let CryptoLocker through, it wouldnt remove it when even performing an ondemand scan. They woud like a copy of said virus.

The virus was removed with ComboFix ourselves (I am aware there are risks to performing it myself, the files were backed up and we were prepared to do a complete reinstall if need be, and im still prepared to be hit with the disclaimer as a new member of this forum ;) so all i need to do is restore the virus from quarantine on the isolated PC, and make a copy of them in a passworded zip file.

Can someone please provide clear directions for restoring files from quarantine with the latest versions of ComboFix?
