ComboFix - Restore deleted files
Whne running ComboFix you see the words, deleteing file, this is very distressing. what ComboFix is doing is actually quaratining the file in it's own file store, the developer of ComboFix shouold change the word, deleting to quarantining.
So now you know the files have not actually been deleted you need to know how to restore them which is not an easy process. You must make sure you do not unistall ComboFix until you have recovered all of you files.
The following articles will show you where the quarantined files are and how to recover them. In this situation i would recommend a full disak backup or at the very least a backup of the ComboFix folder usually in the root of C:.
The files are basically unchanged except that thy are moved to the files store and they have a a file extension of .vir add on the end. I cannot remeber if the file is actually renamed.
