Be careful, a lot of the images do not have any copyright or license notes with them so you should consider them as copyrighted.

Attribution is require in the specified mannor but you can use the images for personal and commercial use. There is quite a lot of japanese art here so if you want something different it is worth a look.

There is a pointless newsgroup search, the reason i say pointless is that it says 'This picture may be copyrighted' which means there is no way to verify the status of the license of the image so it cant be used.
